FAQs

  • Can we have friends or family officiate the wedding?
In Clark County the person that officiates the wedding must be ordained through the county to legally perform a wedding. Please know that you must apply no later than 30 days in advance but no sooner than 3 months in advance. The link for your friends or family member that would like to officiate is https://www.clarkcountynv.gov/government/elected_officials/county_clerk/marriage_officiants.php If you would like to have them preform your ceremony and not obtain the single ceremony paperwork, we do offer a sign n go option for an additional fee to be done before the ceremony. That would allow your friend or family member to do your service. Our officiants love when you say your own vows, or your can just repeat after them it is your choice. If you are needing to customize their ceremony, there are additional fees for these options. Our wedding officiants will contact you before the ceremony to go over details.
  • How many guests can I have?
We specialize in small elopements but most of our locations do allow up to a maximum of 50 guests. Our pricing includes up to 10 guests in our packages and there are additional fees for more guests. Please ask about additional guests.
  • Once you book your elopement with us what happens?
Once contract is signed and deposit is made you can sit back and relax. We take care of everything you need for your elopement. We book your location and time. To make your elopement simple we send you all the important information that you need like how to obtain your marriage license, florals, makeup, hair, along with transportation. We even work with a company that rents gowns, and tuxedos so that you do not have to travel with them from afar.
  • How many photos do we get?
With Adventure Weddings Las Vegas, you get them ALL!! Our photographer makes sure to cover your ceremony, family, groups, and portraits. And yes, you get them all with the digital rights to reproduce them. They are professionally edited and are hosted on an online gallery for you to download and share with family and friends. We try to get them to you as soon as we can. Most elopements are turned in a few days. During our busy season please know that it could take up to two weeks to get your images. If you are needing them turned faster there is an additional fee.
  • Can we bring our own photographer/videographer?
Unfortunately, we cannot allow outside photographers or videographers under our permits. We do allow guests and family members to take photos with cell phones as long as they do not get in the way of our photographers.
  • Can we have chairs for your ceremony?
Chairs are not part of our packages because they are not allowed at most of our locations. If you are needing a limited amount of chairs, please inquire as they are an additional fee.
  • Can we have décor at the ceremony location?
The best thing about our locations is that the locations are breathtaking and do not need a lot of décors. With our permits some décor is prohibited. If you are wanting to add décor, we are more than happy to go over cost and what is allowed.
  • What happens if we have bad weather like rain or wind?
All our locations are mostly outdoors, and we are subject to the elements. We do have a rain or shine policy. We do not get a lot of rain in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas, but we are known for our wind. We do our best to wait out the weather but sometimes due to permits the show must go on. Unfortunately, in windy conditions we can not guarantee that your hair will stay in place. We recommend updo’s for our brides on windy days.
  • If we cancel is there a refund?
Once deposit is made, we start the process of pulling permits and securing staff for your special day. There is no deposit refunds due to fees that occur once the booking is made. In some instances we do allow a date change but may incur additional fees.
