When most people think of a Las Vegas wedding, they think of a chapel, but if you’re the adventurous type, we highly recommend considering the beautiful and striking surrounding outdoor options for your vow renewal. The park makes for an elegant, intimate vow renewal spot that can only be found right here in Las Vegas.
This historic park is famous for over 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstone rocks that are scattered around the park nestled in gray and tan limestone. Valley of Fire also contains ancient, petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back over 2,000 years. Valley of Fire wedding photos are truly one-of-a-kind with brilliant colors, desert plants and spectacular views of the unique red rock formations.

Valley of Fire State Park is located about 45 minutes outside of the city of Las Vegas and about an hour from the Las Vegas strip. The park has a small entrance fee of $10 per car and is open year round, so any date is a possibility for your vow renewal, including your original wedding date!
The park is most commonly used for biking and hiking, as well as a great campsite. There are picnic tables and grills throughout the park for your convenience, which can make for a wonderful picnic after you renew your vows.
An important thing to note is that getting a permit to hold weddings at Valley of Fire is required by law. The state of Nevada only permits a few companies per year to hold weddings on the Valley of Fire Park grounds.
Adventure Weddings LV has one of the few annual vendor permits to hold weddings in the park, so you can enjoy your day stress-free knowing you have the proper paperwork.
Some people renewing their vows wish to include other guests. If you choose Valley of Fire State Park as your venue, you are allowed up to 10 guests.

Hot Rod Wedding- Nostalgia Street Rods Las Vegas
If you are looking for a Las Vegas Rockabilly vow renewal, look no further! Whether you are a car enthusiast or if you love the retro pinup style this is the place for you!
Nostalgia Street Rods Las Vegas is a unique Rockin’ wedding location with hot rods, vintage cars, and tractors from 1910 to 1984. You have your choice of rooms: 1950's Chevy Bel Air Room, 50’s dinner and hot rods and tractor’s room and hot rod repair shop. All these locations are located inside and offer protection for wind, rain, and the hot Nevada sun.

Red Rock Canyon- Red Rock Conservation
Another great option for adventurous couples looking for beautiful and striking landscapes is Red Rock Canyon. The park maintains a permit system in place to keep foot traffic low and enable us to provide an intimate ceremony with few other tourists and no other weddings or vow renewals are happening there at the same time.
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers two wedding locations:
Overlook on State Route 159: The overlook provides a scenic panoramic view of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. It is a developed site with a paved parking area (approximately 25 parking spaces) and hiking trail and picnic tables. It is located approximately 1.7 miles south of Red Rock Canyon's 13-Mile Scenic Drive entrance, off of State Route 159.
Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center Amphitheater
Renting sites for Las Vegas vow renewals ceremonies are available at the following times:
March 1 to March 31 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
April 1 to Sept 30 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Oct 1 to Oct 31 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Nov 1 to Feb 28/29 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please be aware that even though foot traffic is limited, permits do not allow exclusive use of a site. Picnic areas, trails and other facilities are open to the public.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located about 20-30 minutes from the strip (depending on traffic).
Some additional aspects to know about this location when considering this location for your vow renewal:
A member of your party must have a copy of the approved permit in hand at the time of the wedding. Failure to abide by regulations will result in denial of future permits and possible issuance of a citation by BLM personnel or law enforcement.
Please keep in mind that rice, birdseed, butterflies, balloons, arches, chairs and other props are prohibited.
If you and your party plan to enter the 13-Mile Scenic Drive, regular gate fees apply.
El Dorado Gold Mine- Nelson, Nevada
As the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada, the Techatticup Mine in the deliciously scenic El Dorado Canyon is located only 45 minutes outside Las Vegas.
The area has lots of photo opportunities with old cars, air planes, rustic barns and rugged mountains. For your vow renewal ceremony alone there are 6 locations to choose from!

Seven Magic Mountains
If you’re looking to capture the vibrant colors of the city but with less hustle and bustle, the Seven Magic Mountains is the perfect location for you! The Seven Magic Mountains is an art installment of seven colorful towering stacks of boulders in the Ivanpah Valley.
Visible across the desert landscape along Interstate 15, Seven Magic Mountains According to renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, “offers a creative critique of the simulacra of destinations like Las Vegas… The location is physically and symbolically mid-way between the natural and the artificial: the natural is expressed by the mountain ranges, desert, and Jean Dry Lake backdrop, and the artificial is expressed by the highway and the constant flow of traffic between Los Angeles and Las Vegas”.
Logistics
The Seven Magic Mountains are located 30 minutes from downtown Las Vegas. Please be aware that this location does not have paved trails and does not have restroom facilities. Be sure to check the weather for the season you’re planning and then again week-of and day-of, as it can get above 100 degrees in the summer and very cold when the sun is down.
There is no admission fee to visit or permits required for ceremonies.
